During a titration it was determined that 30 mL of 0.100M Ce(4+) solution was required to react with 20 mL of .150 M Fe(2+) solution. what reaction occured?

A: Ce(4+) + Fe(2+) ---> Fe (3+) + Ce (3+)

Hey
savvysearch, it;s the stranger again.
this one is not that hard. Looking at the reactancts do you see that both of them must be equvalent in number of moles?

#moles=V*Molarity. So that means the reactants are one to one. The only answer that is one to one ration (coeficients are equal) is the answer you provided.

Good luck.
