DO Need help picking which schools to apply to?

Hi there! I have a 3.7cgpa/3.6sgpa, a 28 MCAT, a solid list of ECs and excellent LORs. I am applying to both MD and DO schools this cycle, but I'm having a hard time narrowing down my list of DO schools. I don't have a DO LOR, so are there certain schools I should avoid? How many DO schools do people usually apply to? Which schools are considered the most competitive in terms of stats and reputation?

Here is my prospective list, and I'd appreciate any opinions on it:

Western (CA and OR)
ACOM
DMU
CCOM
LECOM
PNWUHS-COM
TOURO (CA)
PCOM

So many school list posts. With your stats, just apply fairly broadly (10-12 I'd say) to schools you'd like to attend. You should have no problem landing interviews.

There is a recent post with a link to the guidebook which will tell you what schools require a DO LOR and also a post with the most recent matriculant averages.
