Hello, everyone.

So as the title says I need help planning haha. So I am finishing my BS in Biology in three years (May 2023) instead of four and at my school they alternate years organic chemistry is offered since it is a small school. My issue is that I will not be taking organic chemistry until my senior year so I am wondering how that will interfere with the process. When should I take my MCAT? I just am really confused about the process but am wanting to go down the medicine route in life so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Orgo and Biochem are both tested on the MCAT.

Biochem is the most heavily tested subject on the MCAT.

It's natural if you're disoriented because the process is so complex. Does your school have a Health professions office or something similar dedicated just to orienting free health and premed students? If so, check them out and make an appointment to go usually one to two times per semester because they can help guide you onto a track that fits your goals.
