I have a 3.3 GPA from a liberal arts school and a 30 on the MCAT. Will be doing an SMP program next year and I was hoping you guys would take a look at the list of schools that I am applying to and maybe add or remove some from the list? By the way I am an Alabama resident.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

what liberal arts school did you attend?

Your list looks fine. Id say your best chance is USA after the SMP. BSC has no name recognition outside of the south. Except with certain DO schools. BSC has a great reputation with the 8 AMEC DO schools. Where are you doing the SMP?

How will my low GPA look to a school like USA compared to 3.7's from schools like UAB? Also, what about UAB med school?

You might want to look at MCW and SLU. Einstein is a bit of a stretch. Good chance at Tulane. Good luck.

I'm in a similar boat as well, from a liberal arts school (CA) and average stats. But just apply broadly and to schools that fit your needs.

Thanks for the new schools! Why do you think Einstein is a stretch? Aren't the average stats there lower than the two schools you recommended?
