need your help and feed back. thanks a lot.
i checked some dentist school and found most of them will require the pre-required courses took at USA or Canada.
for my situation, i have my Biology degree from oversea other than Canada or USA, how can i apply for dentist school in USA.(i am USA citizen now) but my prerequired courses took is not USA or Canada.
if retake all courses, it will need at least another 2 years. it is very upset me.
thanks for your suggestions.

You've got to take those pre-reqs at a Canadian or US institution. You don't have to take classes at a university---some schools will accept community college credits. Community colleges tend to be cheaper than universities.

Having to take the "prerequired courses" for "dentist school" might serve to improve the command of the lingo.

No school will accept you without finishing the prereqs at an American/Canadian institution. Schools don't know how to interpret grades from foreign institutions. In the meantime, improve on your English, as you might not be able to pass the interview at this stage.

Good luck.

Interpreting grades is not the problem; judging the quality of education- that's a bird of a different color.

The differing quality of education of foreign institutions is the main reason why it is hard to interpret the grades. Birds of the same color to me 🙂

umm... i took courses in st andrews, which is ranked right behind oxbridge, and they speak english there. the courses transferred back to my american university with an american grade, and they count towards my home school gpa.

all the dental schools i applied to were ok with it, except for BU.

Assuming you mean that all your (science) prerequisites were done out of the country, the true test of whether or not "all the dental school i applied to were ok with it" will come when you have an acceptance in your hand. In that case, it supports the contention that ds "requirements", unlike those of Moses, are not set in stone. Deans of admissions make the rules and they can just as readily ignore them.

You will not find a list of ds that offer exceptions.
