Need help with choosing schools...

I am an arizona resident. I have a 4.0 science gpa and a 3.8 overall gpa. I got a 19AA and a 20TS on the DAT. I was thinking about ASDOH, colorado, oregon, UNC, Buffalo, VCU and not sure about the rest. Those are just my initial ideas. Please help me know which schools I would be competitive for and what may be some the cheapest schools that I stand a chance at getting into. Thanks in advance for all your help

GPAs go a long way. You'll be a competitive applicant at many schools.

The options for 'cheap' tuition are pretty limited. Are you down with WICHE? You probably have a good chance of getting that funding. That will knock $25K off tuition per year. But I'd slip maybe 1 more WICHE school into the mix if you want to try that route.

Your GPA is great, but your DAT won't get you into UNC. Save your money for the app and potential interview and apply somewhere else.

I don't know much about the rest (I'm East Coast), but VCU is pretty OOS friendly. If you're thinking East Coast, you have a shot at MUSC (15 OOS slots; great school, if you can afford it) and Louisville. MAYBE Florida.

It's also not easy to help when you don't report your PAT as well. Let's just say for the sake of argument that with a 19/20/?, that anything under 20 probably won't secure you an OOS acceptance to some schools.

I think you have a good chance at every school based on your GPA and Above average DAT scores...granted you don't have any sections of 17 and below.

OP, don't start doubting your app if you encounter a cutoff freak out frenzy. You'll be fine.

I meant your scores for the two previous posters. Your QR might cause some people to freak out. I say you're good to go.
