I apologize for posting this question here. It just seems more people are in this section answering questions.

I am having a really hard time with this section from the PAT than any other. I have watched a few videos and I have read explanations on how to approach these problems, but still nothing. Can someone explain to me their strategy? Or suggest I watch a certain video?

Thank you.

This was actually probably my best section on the PAT. I actually used the graph paper they give you. I drew the borders for 15 4x4 boxes on the graph paper. The first thing I did when I looked at a problem was look where the holes were punched. Then I look back at the folds. If there is no place where the paper was missing (as if the table was exposed) underneath a punched hole, I drew a filled in hole. If I see that there was a place where the paper was missing underneath the punch, then I drew an empty hole I thought of as a "ghost hole". Then as I unfolded the paper step by step, I drew in the holes that were revealed symmetrically across each fold. Ghost holes will give rise to real holes in at least one of the folds. Then I looked my overall answer, disregarding the ghost holes, and matched it to the correct answer. It was always there. I have no idea if that explanation made ANY sense. haha
