Hello, I am currently applying this cycle. My overall GPA was 3.5 and my science GPA was 3.8. My MCAT score is 497. I struggled with the MCAT for almost 2 years & got sub-500 scores on 3 of my attempts. I even quit my job back in January before my third exam to dedicate to full-time MCAT studying (RIP my savings). I was crushed when I opened my second score. During my 2 gap on now on my 3rd, I worked as a medical assistant & conducted research in my Undergrad years. I also got a pre-med committee letter from my school. Anyway, I'm undeterred and I need some guidance in picking my schools. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey friend, you should edit your name out of the post. This is the Internet after all.

I would caution you against applying with a score under 500; you are at risk of not passing boards with lower scores and that would be tragic. Is there any possibility of taking one more gap year and getting a MCAT study course?
