I have no idea how to get started. Do I have to make an interfolio account before I ask proffesors for LoR's? Do I have to give them information on where to send them?

If anyone has information or knows of a guide to the process that would be awesome!

thank you!

You have two options:
1) sending them via mail
2) using Interfolio. I used inter folio and it was a very easy process. First, I would make an interfolio account if you haven't already (they have different levels that correspond to how long you want them to store letters). Second, speak with the professors you want LOR from and once they agree, mention that the should expect an email from Interfolio requesting that they upload their LOR (or you can print out a request form and they can use this - this is what I did). Once they've done so, you will get an email/alert that this has been done. Third, create a letter matching form for each of the letters (make sure to correctly match the letter with the writer). Fourth, you deliver the letter electronically to AADSAS (along with the matching forms) and it'll take about 5-7 days to match with your AADSAS application.

First link is about requesting letters: http://help.interfolio.com/entries/24062192-Requesting-Letters-of-Recommendation-Through-Interfolio-
Second link is sending to AADSAS: http://help.interfolio.com/entries/24065501-ADEA-AADSAS-Applicant-FAQ

Hope this helps!

Are the matching forms completed only through the application or can I do that on my own? I am applying next cycle.

Do you have to go through interfolio? I just clicked the "submit electronically" option on AADSAS, gave them my professors email and they emailed my professor the portal. Says it successfully received the letter.

I applied last cycle and websites are always changing so you may not need to use interfolio as an absolute. The matching forms are completed through Interfolio. I think Interfolio is a great resource if one can get their letters before the AADSAS application opens but if you can now submit your letters through AADSAS directly, I would do that and save yourself some money.

I did a committee letter electronically.

You don't have to do Interfolio. You can submit them electronically when the app opens. AADSAS will send an email to professors/dentists you want a letter from so that they can submit letters electronically.
