need help with the sop

hey ,can anyone help me out with the sop.
i mean ,where to start with and how to ?
And is it true ,a good sop takes abt 2 months to finish.becoz i have never started to write one.is it necessary to write abt the school which we r applying to?in that case do we have to go to each schools website and find out abt the school.if it takes 2 months iam not having that time. please help me, somebody.
