I did my undergrad at UNC and I've done some graduate work down at Campbell, including some pharmacy classes. I like everything about Campbell except the cost, which is way higher than UNC. It's a tougher decision than it sounds, especially since I've been down at Campbell. Need a decision by the end of the week...

All I can do is reiterate what has been said countless times... This is 4 years, a long time, and you should pick based on where you see yourself happiest/benefit the most. You probably have some strong ties to Campbell so its tough. I have had/will have some tough decisions to make, its really not much fun, but hey at least we have the options available.

If I were in a similar position, I'd JUMP at the chance to attend UNC. I don't know much about the program itself but there's got to be a multitude of reasons why it's #2 in the US News Rankings.

I've often heard that the rankings don't matter much, that Pharmacy is a small world and most people polled just give the best score to the alma mater, but there's certainly something to be said about a #2 ranking. Campbell's at ~41 I think.

I guess it would really depend on whether or not there's a program you want to do at either university. Does UNC Chapel hill have a great ________ (fill in the blank) that interests you? What is it about Campbell that you like so much more than Chapel Hill?

Different people feel different ways. I declined admissions to Campbell to be on a waitlist for Chapel Hill just because I can't see myself in that itty- bitty town for four years of my life. If it didn't bother me, however, I'd go with it no matter what the cost is. I've seen people choose Campbell over UNC many- many times. Plus, it would open up a spot for us, the waitlisted : ) Choose wisely.
