hey i had a question, i just had my nycom interview today and i think i was too nervous and dont think i did that well. I have a feeling i wont get in. I have gotten into Touro NY but really don't want to go there because it is so new and my deposit is due in 5 days. My questions are does it really matter what DO school you attend when try to apply for residency or are they about the same, if i want to go to a competitive resdency. What do you guys think about Touro? I know Nycom does have a medprep program, but how would i apply for that? i would probably try medprep if i was rejected. Any suggestion would be appreciated?

The medprep program isn't something you can do if you're rejected. It is a program they offer to students whom they really like for some reason or another, but they aren't sure if they are strong enough academically, and they give them a chance to "prove themselves" I believe you have to be selected by the school for it, you can't just apply to it.

You probably got in. Quit being so freaking negative. And if you didn't get in, don't do something stupid like not go to TOUROCOM. You're set from here on out, no matter what happens.
