Hi

I am a dentist from india i took my Part-1 and only scored 79
but i have been working as a volunteer dental assistant for the last one year for one of the hospital. I am taking my part 2 in december.I talked to 2 of the girls form NYU they said they had less score them me and still got in my Toefl is 257

So do u think i have a chance in NYU ? and does the voulnteer work really counts ? i heard that colleges in california usually put the stress on their own test ? is any of this true

i think u shd try for nyu.i have heard they give admission on 1st come first surve bases.so u can try it.
but my friendly advise is try to retake the exam....if possible.

I am not sure if it is a good school or not but it is awfully expensive and on top of that it is 3 years .But if u dont have another choice that it is worth trying .
