I hope someone can help me. I have never posted before, but have gained a lot of useful advice from all of you. (And had some laughs as well 🙂 My first semester in college my mother died of cancer (this was 11 years ago, I am a non-trad student) I didn't complete the semester, but all my profs were very kind and gave me incompletes and told me to come back whenever I was ready. So...went back later and saw the I's were F's
Turns out you have to retake within one year. Long story short, I finished those classes and got A's. But...because of AMCAS those F's were figured into my GPA and dropped to a low B average. How (and do I) explain this during an interview???? Thanks for you help!
