I just took the DAT yesterday. I?m pretty disappointed about three of my scores. I thought I was going to do better. I was really shocked when I saw my reading and math scores, I had never got anything lower than a 20 on reading comp test on top score, and was scoring 17?s on the math. Do you guys think I?ll still have a chance to get into to dental school? I have a 3.42 science/ 3.56 overall, I have a lot of community service, and I applied mid-June to 12 schools. I really do not want to re-take the DAT, it was such a nightmare!!! Do you guys think I might have to?
If anyone could give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate.

Some advice about the test:
I would defiantly take a sleeping pill, or something the night before!!! I only got two hours of sleep that night, and I went to bed around 9:30. It is so true; you cannot go to bed at all!
Bio- I thought the major advice here is to know the basis, but be able to critical think some topics. Know cellular respiration, I had a couple of questions on that. I had a few plant questions, (vessels, photosynthesis etc.) I had a couple classification questions. Know your physiology on the heart. Other than that I thought the Bio was pretty easy.
Chem.- I was not the best at this section, so I was aiming for an 18. It was pretty easy. I only had one calculation; all the others were put into the equation. It pretty much what everyone is saying is true.
Ochem- I was mad about this section. I got A?s in both semesters in OChem in college, so I thought I would do great. It wasn?t that the section was really hard; I just thought that the questions were pretty lame, and were just stupid ones. But I think knowing your reactions, is a must.
Reading- This section was hard!!! Nothing like top score!! I never got anything lower than a 20. My advice, read the article!! It is not word for word. It was pretty tricky.
QR- I don?t know what happened here. I think I was just getting tried. But I had a few trig. questions, a few algebra, but mostly word problems. ( And I hate word problems).
PAT- The angles did suck!!! I think that is why I got my low score. I was getting a 19 on top score, so I would take off a couple points. The keyholes were not that bad, but some of the top-front was hard!!! My first cube structure looked like it was floating or something. I had never seen anything like it before. Patter folding sucked too!!! Not that many colored ones, but just fold it into a certain shape. Everything else was like top score.
