I am currently getting ready to apply for this cycle with:
-3.19 sgpa, 3.25 BCP, and 3.4 cgpa. (from what I calculated)
- 21 AA, 21 TS, 18 PAT, 22 OC, 24 GC, 20 BIO, 23 RC, 16 QR

Being a public health major I dont think majority of my classes count towards my sgpa (if they did it would be higher) so I only have about 47 credits for BCP and 50's for my sgpa. While I am not totally losing hope for acceptance this cycle, I am planning my next move for strengthening my gpa for next cycle. With such low credits what should I do to start preparing for next years cycle? Going to a religious school, I was put into a VERY time consuming religious leadership position that only a handful of students at my school are asked to do. After almost 3 years in the position, I will be done with my leadership position at the end of the year and have a lot more time in school so I am very confident that I can perform better than I have been. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

solid DAT scores, although 16 QR may disqualify you for some schools which you should research and rule out. The good thing is that you haven't accumulated a crap ton of science credits with bad grades which means that your sGPA is still salvageable. If you havent completed all your prereqs, finish them. Otherwise, look into applying to a post-bacc and take upper division science courses or apply to a graduate biomedical science program. After acing 30 or so credits of pure science courses, your sGPA should be more competitive.

I think you’ve got a shot! I had very similar stats to yours (same GPA and a 22 AA) and got into 6 schools this cycle. Just apply broadly and early and you should be fine. Make sure the schools on your list have average stats similar to yours (for example, apply to private schools like Midwestern and LECOM)

I LITERALLY had almost the same stats (lower sGPA though) and a QR at 16. I also was a public health major. I think if your letters are strong, the personal statement is refined, and you have tons of experience you should be fine! If I can help in any way further let me know. Good luck!!
