You guys are absolutely great when it comes to your opinions and ideas, they are really helpful. Hearing about someone else's approach doesn't hurt.
Ok, here goes my dilemma. I have pretty much made the decision to go to med school. I do not have the prereq's and and is considering a formal post bac program but my issue here is two fold. Do i choose a post bac that has a linkage program, duration 1yr incl summer, costing 30k or do i choose my state school and try to take all the courses in the 1yr format as a structured post bac. State school has no linkages, but it would be cheaper. I would have prefered a cheaper post bac but the linkage aspect of a structured post bac is very appealing.
I guess my question is, are post bac programs worth the large sum of money they ask for? Did anyone attend a post bac w/ a linkage and if so, did you benefit from it?
I appreciate any info you can give on this subject.
