I have returned back to school to finish prereqs to apply to medical school in the near future.
I'm just taking some classes part time while I work full time to slowly make my way there.
I'm taking an mid-level biology course this semester and we just had our first exam. I didn't do so well on it, about a C-. The catch is that I'm not out of the dumps, I can actually pull off an A, but it will take near flawless work on my part. Which, of course, I'm willing to do.
I'm just a little afraid of the risk factor; a little uncertain about any potential slip ups in the future that would screw my chances to get an A.
Basically what I'm asking is. Do I push it to the limit? Or, should I save face and return next semester with a fresh start?
Here's another thing I'm wondering. I don't get a refund on the money if I drop the class. But I'm not sure what's worse. Losing out on money I already spent, or working my face off and still unable to get a decent grade.
Thanks
