Hello,

My medical school doesn't give us a whole lot of time to review for Step 1, only about 29 days.

My general plan is to go through each organ system very well during this semester as it is covered in class, then during this time off review all organ systems and basic science.

I had this idea for a 3 pass system, where everything gets reviewed 3 times. The first time would be annotating First Aid and Goljan RR while reviewing physio, anatomy, path, and pharm. The 2nd pass would be more focused on memorizing all the details and forming nice charts. The 3rd pass would be a final last ditch attempted to memorize all the smallest details.

In terms of review questions I have enough sessions scheduled in to get through all of USMLEworld in this study break. Im using USMLErx to do during this semester.

The resources I am using are pretty standard.

First Aid, Rapid Review Path, Goljan Audio lectures, High Yield cellular and molecular bio, High Yield Human development, High Yield Neuroanatomy, BRS Physio, Rapid Review Pharm, High yield histology, Lily for Cardio, Essential haematology (hoffbrand). I'm reading Robbins during the semester, but its soo detailed I haven't been doing much annotating.

The Link to my plan for the study break is below. It starts May 14th.

I would greatly appropriate any feedback you could give me on the amount of time dedicated to each section, and the order of the systems Ive decided to review.

Am I missing anything crucial?

Thanks so much for your input : )

Notes: MER= Metabolic, Endocrine, and reproductive, for the Full length practice step 1 exams I'm using the NBME, and also USMLERx questions.
