Pretty much I am looking for guidance/advice as to what I should do in order to make myself
a competitive applicant. Long story short, I transferred from a community college to a 4-year university
to complete my B.S in biology. My cumulative GPA after graduating from the university is a 2.57 (yes, I know it is low to even think about dental school). After graduation, I went back to the community college
to finish some classes (anatomy, microbiology, and speech) to get into dental hygiene. Two years later, I am presently holding a dental hygiene degree, but want to increase my GPA. I know my choices are limited, but will the only way be by taking upper division courses to bring my GPA up and complete a post-bacc or post-bacc and then a masters? Also, my DAT scores will definitely be up there in order to be considered as well. Any comments will be helpful as I am feeling lost right now.
