Hi I just took the Step 2 exam, and when I finished the exam, the paper I received from the secretary said that "your USMLE session has ended." I have heard that means that I failed...Is that true?

It just means that your session has....well....ended. As in, "you're done with the test".

hahahhAHAHAHAAHAA!

oh man, thanks for the laugh, I needed that, i'm good for the day now. now shut up and go get have a drink.

gemcane07, I seriously doubt that meant anything. I was given a form stating I had completed Step 1 when I took it, and I passed. This is more than likely just post-test anxiety.

And others, please play nice. This is a forum dedicated to people who are supposedly going to be professionals. Let's try to be a little more helpful and a little less sarcastic. Thanks.

Lighten up, in these tough, competitive, hair loss or grey hair times , we need a little comic relief!

 We are all laughing with you because we have all felt the jitters before and hey we have gotten this far have'nt we? ... I am sure you will do great look back on this one and laugh as well... All the best to you

Yes, we need a chuckle here and there. Humor is medicine Also this is something thats more likely to happen if one takes step 1 or step 2 OUT of order. Because when I completed step one I recieved the same warning but took it as if USMLE was saying good bye, the end of test. I didnt go into a fit of "Adrenergic Norepinephrine induced gyrations"

When I finished the USMLE step 2 I was handed a paper that said "Your USMLE session has ended, good luck in nursing school" Does this mean I failed? Did anyone else get anything like this 😕

You're kidding right? Don't make me crack up again...🙂

i know, taking the test for 9 hours is not the nerve-wracking part these days! it's the end of the test letter given by the test center that ruins the day!
