In my opinion, with a good PS you should be looking at a few interviews. Your MCAT is around average, and your GPA is right where it should be (I got interviews at 3 out of 4 DO schools that I applied to, and my sGPA was lower). Don't stress it too much.

cGPA is 3.7

I hoping to get into the NY schools, 1st priority

OOps, I meant that my MCAT is making me nervous, not GPA!

Unless your mcat is severely unbalanced like ( 14, 4 8) or something like that you'll probably be ok. If all your mcat sub-scores are at or above 7 or 8 and you'll be fine.

You're going to be fine, especially for DO. Your GPA is way above average and your MCAT isn't that far off. The rest of your application looks solid. You have solid numbers and a good experiences. Relax.

Although wtf is 80 hours of research. That's like 2 weeks full time. What can you do in 2 weeks? You're not even trained by then.

Yea the research is low because I could only come in like 5 hours a week over a summer. Didn't publish anything (obviously) but did learn a lot.

Yea, the mcat is balanced 8vr, 9, 9

Alrighty, thanks for the replies. Any one else who has applied for DO's, please feel free to chime in
