Hey everybody,

Ok my first question:

Is it worth it to simply get TBR Bio for JUST the passages/questions?

I mean I have EK bio and Kaplan Bio books. But I want to know how much I am missing out from TBR bio. I am doing the Sn2ed schedule, but didn't get that TBR Bio.
Is there an alternative to the TBR Bio's passages or should I get the TBR bio for passage sake?

And my second question:

How should I review?

Meaning, after doing the TBR passages/questions ... besides thoroughly reading the explanations, what is the best way to review your mistakes and get better.
What has worked for you guys?
(plus just to put it again in more context, I am doing the Sn2ed schedule).

Thanks!!

I felt that TBR Bio was overkill for the MCAT. Not only were the passages harder, but some of the topics will never be tested by the AAMC (and some of the questions require recall of way too specific details). I would recommend TPRH Science Workbook bio discretes/passages as a replacement.

To review, I made flashcards and note sheets on which I would describe the major concepts that I derived from the question. Usually, I would get questions wrong due to misthinking a concept so writing down the correct thinking was extremely helpful! I would then review those flashcards/notesheets at the end of each week.
