Need to continue using Top Score Pro, any thoughts?

Hey guys,

I have purchased DAT Top SCore Pro in april and downloaded it assuming that I would not need it for longer than 7 months.

However, I am taking my DAT before thanksgiving and wondering if I can extend the subscription for 2 more weeks after the expiration?

I read a post before on SDN saying taht the software works even after its expiration.

Any thoughts?

As I'm sure you're aware, Top Score has a strict policy on not extending your use of the software past its expiration date and/or not giving out more license keys for more than one coputer.

However, when my hard drive crashed a week before my DAT's, I contacted topscore (via the online form you fill out), explained the situation to them, and basically asked them for a new license key that I could use on another computer which could expire in a week (or whenever, didn't matter to me as long as I had that week). Sure enough, they emailed me the next day with a new license key which would expire in 10 days.
So you can always try contacting them and asking them straight out. But I'm not sure they'd be as willing to extend your use as it has already been 7 months. (I had only purchased the software a week before my hard drive crashed- that would give me a total of 2 weeks of use of the program). Still doesn't hurt to try. Good Luck!

just go to http://www.vmware.com/download/server/
download the program then creat a virtual PC
once you have installed xp or whatever you have
install DAT TOp and put your clock to the date you purchase the software
remember!! always to check if the system time is between the dates for eligible usage when you open the program. otherwise you are screwed

other solution
use other pc to run the DAT top and system clock from the date you purchase the software.

I have DAT 1999 and the program works just fine

for DAT achiever
creat virtual pc donwload Achiever---> install---> purchase code
crate txt file with your code and the approcimation of the dates you can use the program --- may 2006 +180(6 months)----> Don't used the code
make a backup of the virtual pc by simply copy and paste to different folder
----> use the code to activate--> after the 180 days delete virtual pc 1
and mount VP 2 ----> use the code

this is only for educational purpose only 🙂
do not upload your virtual image to torrent you could be captured
since there is software code which corresponds to your name.....
