Just took my DAT yesterday and did not exactly score as high as I would have liked to.

PAT: 20
QR: 20
RC: 22
Bio: 19
Gen Chem: 18
OChem: 20
TS: 19
AA: 20

oGPA: 3.77
sGPA: 3.83

School List

Ohio State
Case Western
UF (impossible, but it's my dream school)
Nova
UCLA
UCSF
Louisville
Midwestern AZ
UNC
MUSC
VCU
UNLV
Maryland

Based on my scores, are there any schools I should add/remove? Should I retake the DAT?

We almost have the exact same stats. I'm from Texas though so hoping for one of the big 3 here. If I were you, I'd replace Maryland and UCLA with LECOM and Temple.

Good luck!

P.S. my DAT AA is 20 as well, but I'm not retaking it.

Are you kidding me??? If the rest of your app is up to par w your GPA/DAT, you're good for anything...

I got into Harvard, UCLA, and UCSF with similar stats...

What is the world coming to...

😀 How similar? 20/19/20 approaches the national mean DAT score for matriculates.

From what I've heard, UCLA is not OOS friendly unless you've got great stats, and your DAT scores are 2-3 points less than their averages. I think you'll have a better chance at UCSF, but that's not a guarantee.

Also, I think laundry may be giving false hope, as stats for Harvard and UCLA are 22+ DAT and 3.6+ GPA as of 2013 ADEA guide. Maybe it was different back in 2007 when he applied.

Maybe replace UCLA with an OOS friendly school? UNE?
