Would you say that you have an upward trend in your grades, some amazing turn-around story?

I do have an upward trend (jumped from 3.0 to 3.5).

Your cGPA is perilously close or below the bottom tenth percentile for cGPA for many top schools. If you will only be happy with a top-ten school, another year of As to raise your GPAs further might help. I suggest you retake Biochem, since that is a med school class you'd be expected to master.

Oh hi, thanks for the reply. There are two courses I am interested to take instead of taking the course in which I got the C: 1) adv. gen. biochemistry, and 2) biochemistry for chemists. Both are upper level ungraduate courses with interesting course descriptions. (I think it would be boring to take the same class again, and I also feel comfortable with that material since studying for the MCAT.) Considering that, should I retake the old class or take one of the new classes?
