Hi all,

This may sound silly and stupid. But I am a Canadian, interested in applying to US dental school for next year cycle. The Canadian institution that I graduated from obviously used different grading scales and am having trouble calculating GPA based on ADEA AADSAS scale with letter grades shown on my transcript grades. I have contacted the ADEA AADSAS already but they couldn't give me a clear explanation to my question so I am posting my question here:

If I want to convert A+, A- and B-, Do I just look at the ADEA AADSAS grading scale? so they would be 4.33, 3.667 and 2.667 respectively?

pretty sure +'s go by .3 and -'s stay as 0. for instance B+ is a 3.3 factor and B- has a 3.0 factor just like an ordinary B. pretty sure i read that straight out of the aadsas instructions for this coming cycle

Just put it in exactly the same as what's on your transcript. That is what aadsas will look for when they verify it. It actually helps that you have letter grades vs. percentage grades.
