I have two W's from two separate semesters. Both times I dropped the classes because I ended up overloading my schedule, but I have since retaken the courses (both are prerequisites) and done well (A and A-). I was hoping that would show adcoms that I could handle the course load, but will two Ws likely be an issue?

i doubt it, especially if you have A's in those courses. Also, there is usually a place on the primary or secondary application to explain why you have W's. Two isn't a big deal.

Yes, they do mean a big deal. In fact, you should not apply because medical schools care more about two W's on your transcripts than what your personal statement and letter of recommendations have to say about you because they don't care about your character, only stats.

In case it wasn't as obvious as can be, that was sarcasm.

Unless you have a pattern of W's, I can't see it hurting. Two shouldn't be a problem, especially since you ended up doing well in the courses when you retook them.

I literally laughed while reading every word

Nah I withdrew from 2 classes due to changing major which caused me to underload senior year and not a peep on the interview trail. Like you, I was concerned how that might look but in retrospect I think it's only a concern if you have a pattern of doing so (AKA protecting your GPA).
