Hello! I am curious if it is possible to negotiate financial aid for DO schools? I have heard of competitive MD candidates negotiating aid when they can leverage multiple acceptances. I currently have 2 DO A's and want to try to see if I can get the school that prefer to "match" the cheaper tuition of the school I do not prefer. It's only a few thousand but I'll take what I can get if there's a way! My MCAT was over 10 points higher than the average matriculant at the "preferred" school, is there a way I can use this to my advantage? Maybe this isn't a thing in the way it is for more competitive candidates at well established MD schools, but if it is I would love any insight!

What you're talking about is not a thing.

Even in the MD world, it's not as easy as you think. Temple doesn't care if you go to Albany or Drexel, for example.

This will not happen.

They do not need you.

Theres 100+ people who could take your spot by the end of this sentence.

You’re just another warm body to them.

You are not special.
