My current practice if facing a likely buyout by an AMC, planning to stay due to strong ties to the area.

Looking for tips from anyone who has experienced negotiating a contract to stay on.

1. Non compete area (this is the big one for you)
2. Fines/penalty if you quit after 1, 2 or 3 years
3. Salary while employed, bonuses, retirement plan, etc
