I was asked to retake a class this past spring semester for a DPT program. I needed a 'B' and got a 'C'. I emailed them to tell them and they said the PT department will allow me to retake this class again to try and receive a grade of a 'B' and that I can hold my deposit paid position in the fall 2012 cohort by retaking this class. Then followed by saying if I wish not to take this class again to please let them know so they can offer the seat to the next person on the wait list. But a little while ago I got an email saying I was number two on the wait list. I thought I was holding my seat by retaking this class according to the email but now they said I am number two on the wait list?? Has this happened to anyone? I'm confused and nervous that I won't get in now once I get this 'B'.

I think you should respond by fwd'ing the previous email instructing you to retake the course while having your seat saved. Its probably best to resolve this matter quickly since classes are coming up soon. Use the paper trail to your advantage and good luck!

You definitely need to show all previous communication you've had and follow it up with a prompt phone call. Good luck to you!
