hey all,

finally handed in my app... and i just have a few questions to be sure:

1. if you applied for a program and it had both categorical and advanced... did you apply for both to increase your chances?
2. how many programs will actually look at your application if all of the LOR's are not in? (I have 1/3 in).
3. how long does it generally take from sending out your app to getting invites?

thanks... and good luck to everyone in the match!!!

hey,

i know there are thoughts on this... any help at all?

1. apply to both categorical and advanced, then apply to either transitional or prelim spot or both in the case you are matched in advanced
2. i've gotten 2 interviews with 1/3 LOR in
3. lengths it takes to get invites depend on programs, i'm also suspecting that some won't look at the application until all but the Dean's letter in

thank you very much!!! one last thing... when you were writing your personal statement... did you have any question marks that appeared. for instance, the work "patient's" would save as patient?s. is that ok?

thanks again

Don't worry just yet. If you get into mid-November and you don't have any interview invites, then I would start contacting programs.
