Right hemiplegia must be somewhere in the corticospinal pathway. If you're given a spinal cord section, then it must be the right-sided corticospinal tract (already decussated from the left brain in the cervicomedullary junction).

Answer is E, I'd say.

Thanks alot . Do u know when it would be C/L defect of corticospinal tract? I am so confused on this tract

the S&S in the BODY can be CONTRALATERAL or IPSILATERAL to the LESION in the CNS (always ipsilateral to PNS)
In the case of CST lesion, the CST decussates approximately at the level of the foramen magnus between the lower medulla and spinal cord. For CST lesions
1)below this decussation, the S&S in the BODY will be IPSILATERAL to the CST LESION . In the question in the above the S&S is in the right side of the body so the CST lesion is also in the right spinal cord.
2)CST lesions above the pyramidal decussation, the the S&S in the BODY will be CONTALATERAL to the CST LESION . For ex you have a CST lesion in the internal capsule in a pt with right hemiplegia, so the lesion is in the left internal capsule.

Slo how do you know whether the CST lesion is above or below the decussation? You need other S&S. For ex pt has loss of pain and temp on the right side and right hemiplegia, where is the lesion? and also the pt has loss pain and temp on the left face, now where is the lesion?
