Neuroanatomy Made Ridiculously Simple

Hi,

Would you recommend this for a summer read before taking neuroscience?

how does it compare to HY series?

Thanks

hey what up

Ill just tell u my experience w neuroscience. I used Ridiculously Simple, and HY together during the course. I didnt use textbooks. HY and BRS are the same, but I borrowed BRS from a friend to do the questions. But for neuroscience, HY, Ridicoulously Simple, and First AID (Neuro, Microbiology, and Path.. pretty much anything about the CNS) helped me get a 87 raw score on the NBME, with my school's curve it came out to a 99. So these review books worked for me. I dont know how much reading it in the summer will help, but i think it's definetly useful to learn it in class, and then read these review books for reinforcement. I dont recommend textbooks for this course cuz the high yield stuff is hard enough

I read Ridiculously simple really quickly during the first 3 days of neuroanatomy. I used high yield before every new topic. I used nolte's Human Brain to look up details I didn't understand in my notes and I did really well in neuroanatomy. Good luck! :luck:
