What is an observership? What exactly are you looking for, and for how long?

If you just want to shadow someone, I guess that is sometimes done by foreign medical grads trying to transition into the US system. Is that your situation?

yes it is my situation, I just want to shadow someone, I am IMG,
thank you

An observership is an official sanctioned "rotation" for FMGs who want to obtain medical experience in the US system and try to get letters. It goes through the GME office, usually. Some of the "famous" programs have a long line of people waiting to do them.

Observers can't touch patients. That's why they're observers. Typically they are done in an inpatient setting.
