Neurology residency contract

I recently matched at a neurology residency that starts pgy-2 in 2004. I was wondering when the contracts for advanced match are sent by the programs? Do we sign them next year before we start or are we suppose to request one now? Any insights would be much appreciate it.

You will get your contract next year, right before starting residency. They want to make sure you actually complete your internship before allowing you to "sign on the bottom line".😉
