We are an integrative psychiatric and neuromodulation practice in New York City looking for a full-time staff member to join our team. This position will primarily involve the administration of transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment to individuals suffering from treatment-resistant mood disorders. However, our new staff member will be an integral part of our team and thus will be involved in virtually all aspects of our daily clinical practice. This includes opportunities for scholarly research, attendance at scientific meetings, and regular didactic activities. We are looking for someone who wants to grow both professionally and personally. Training in rTMS, EEG, and other treatment and assessment modalities will be provided.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a mental health or medical background, experience working in a clinical setting, and a mind for technology. This job requires a dependable, patient, and self-motivated individual who is capable of working well in a high-paced environment. This job is also physically demanding; upper body strength is needed to move the magnet and good coordination is needed to accurately place the magnet on patients’ heads. Please note: Interested candidates must be willing to make a commitment of 18 months or longer to this position.
