General Admissions & OTCAS Neuroscience Class Online

I was recently accepted into UNE's program, but still have to complete neuroscience. I'm having a difficult time finding a school near me (meaning zero schools) that provide this class as an option. Does anyone know of an online neuroscience class? Thanks a bunch! 🙂

Congrats on the acceptance @herky12! SJSU in California has a neuroanatomy class that is held in the summer online. However, I don't know when UNE's program starts so it may be cutting it close.

Congratulations!! Does UNE's neuroscience prerequisite require a lab?

I would email Laurie Boland about the university of phoenix online class. I was put on the waiting list last year and that was the class they recommended I take in case I got called on to attend classes. It was a quick 6 week class and super simple to use the online class site if you havent taken online classes at all.

Thanks everyone for your advice! @OT518 - I did email Laurie Boland and she sent me a list of online classes that the committee already approves of (one of which is university of phoenix). Did that class include a lab portion? It's already approved by admissions but now I'm just curious!

@herky12 I believe there was a lab credit attached to it, but I did not do any typical lab work online so Im not too sure. Most of the assignments were contributing to discussion questions, essays, and a few group "presentations" which basically were just slideshows my group broke down into different categories so we could each do our own part and then submit it.

I am so glad I discovered this posting! I am also looking for a 4-credit (with lab) online-Neuroscience class I can take to satisfy UNE. I have emailed Laurie Boland one too many times and don't want to get on her nerves! Might one of you be able to post the course name, class number and school of classes you know that meet this requirement?

Yay! I'm so glad this was already a thread. I've been mildly freaking out trying to find an online neuro class for credit, specifically for this program. Hooray for options! I didn't want to have to scrap the application just for that one class. Thanks guys!

Did you put it down as in progress on your application or did you just not assign a class to it?

For OTCAS did you list it as a quarter length class? I'm taking mine from SNHU online and their "terms" are 9 weeks.. I tried asking and they said they are neither a semester, trimester, nor quarter... sheesh.
