Never completed high school, only GED

Isn't that the point of getting a GED? That it's supposed to be equivalent to getting a high school diploma? Therefore you should be able to get into some type of college... and from there if you want to be a doctor, it's all up to you. As long as you do decently in undergrad and on the MCAT, you'll get into med school.

they do not ask to see your hs diploma or ged for medical school all you need is your undergrad degree and mcat

I have a friend with a GED that just got accepted to med school. There are alot of different reasons to get a GED. High school was boring to him and he had a good ACT so he went ahead and got his GED and went to college. As far as I know it wasn't even an issue since he did well in college and did good on the MCAT.

my husband doesn't have a high school diploma OR a GED because he skipped his senior year of high school and went straight to college...and he's in med school now and nobody will ever care
as long as you went to college it doesn't matter what happened before that
