Just found out about this one-year nonASOPRS fellowship in New Jersey. Looks like a good option for hands on functional and cosmetic procedures in oculoplastics for those interested in training in this field.

I don't know anything about the mentor or the program so don't ask me about this fellowship. I just stumbled upon the website by chance.

Doesn't training in a non-ASOPRS fellowship mean you can never join ASOPRS?

he sounds pretty upfront with the pros and cons. being non-asoprs will definitely limit your job opportunities, especially in academics (like he mentioned on the website). may also limit your referral resources initially until you develop your reputation the community.

sounds like a decent fellowship for the right person. someone who wants to do comprehensive plus oculoplastics. if you do oculoplastics only, then limited to smaller groups or solo probably.
