Is this just the new version of already famous DAT study guide? If so, how different is it from the older one (2002-2003?). Do I have to worry about buying the new one now that the old one has been 'replaced'?.

Thanks
Jaba

i'm not sure about the '06-'07 guide.. but I have had guides from 1998 to 2005 and they are identical even in the grammatical errors! my thoughts were... if they have to reprint the damn thing, why not correct the damn errors first? lets hope they "updated" it for real this time.

I just compared the last three editions yesterday side by side (including the brand new one). Each section, practice problem, and problem in the full-length exam were exactly the same. If you have any of the books, there is no reason to buy a newer edition.

ok thanks for the in depth comparisons 🙂 .... that they dont even correct mistakes just made me laugh...

I think the only thing is that Kaplan offers more questions online if you buy the book, and there's only a link for the newest edition. This can be worked around, though, if you have a friend with the new edition so you can answer the question they pose to you. It's something like what's the last word on this page. But HMM if the books are the same word for word, then you might not have this problem. *shrugs* food for thought.. try it with an older edition and see.
