Does anyone have the new 2013 pathoma book?

From an email to our class "Pathoma is offering the newly released 2013 update of Dr. Sattar's Fundamentals of Pathology text with 12-month access to online videos"

I updated my first edition book. The 2013 edition is essentially the same as the first edition except with a few additional clarifications and corrected typos. All images are the same. It's the same number of total pages. Both editions are total quality.

Now if only he'd expand the course beyond a Step 1 review to thoroughly cover the depth and breadth of an MS2 path course and then license it to schools, maybe no more second years would have to sit through a terrible path lecture ever again.

In addition to the corrected types, I have seen a few minor changes up to point that I have read

i.e. hemochromatosis is under causes for dilated cardiomyopathy now (was under restrictive cardiomyopathy in the previous version). I'm sure there are others.

I bought it last month and it says "2013 Edition" on the cover.. But I did read in another thread that it was supposed to be updated in the middle-end of August. Can anyone shed some light on whether there will be another update?

Thanks x

Pretty sure the 2013 is the newest one. I ordered mine this summer and it was the first edition, not the 2013 one that just came out within the past month or so. This leads me to believe that the 2013 edition is the most updated one.

Cheers to dreaming

I'm not sure how useful Dr. Sattar (a pathologist) would be for step 2 material, but a resource with a similar teaching style would be great.

Yep, the 2013 edition is the newest edition.
