I totally understand ads keep the site running, but the new ad banner at the top of the page on mobile is really interfering with flow on the site. it covers up a significant portion of the page and when you minimize it the arrow stays on the main menu bar

It’s not supposed to be showing for any logged in member. We’ll get it resolved later today.

These ads have been showing up for me as a logged in member on my mobile devise.

@Kardio If you are on the mobile version of the site, NOT the mobile app, then this is an error. What forum did you see this in?

The mobile app includes ads, regardless of your status. This is driven by the app developer.

@WildWing I am using a web browser to access the site. I’m not using the mobile app.

I was able to reproduce the banner just now by entering the Medical Student MD, Medical Student DO, and Clinical Rotations forums.

Hello, I am on the mobile version of the site and not the app and have been getting ads starting this morning. I am logged in and a lifetime member.

Thanks for letting us know! We made some changes and I missed the "User is a guest" setting on a couple of them. I think I have them all fixed now, but if you see any others, please tag me.
