Hello to all,

I graduated in Dec. I haven't studied for the DATs yet but planning on doing soon. I'm also taking the kaplans course from Feb through April. After the end of the course I will take the DAT exam and apply to schools for the 2013 cycle. Please let me know if this is a good idea and what my chances are?

overall GPA = 3.318
sci GPA = 3.184

I have 75 hours of shadowing
Volunteered at Caring Kits for Carver
Volunteered at Relay for Life
Publicity Chair of the National Society of Leadership and Success for a year
Social Chair of Afghan Student Association for a year
Secretary of the Afghan Association Association for a year
Volunteers Chair of Pakistani Student Association for a year
Technology Assistant at Technology Services of School of Business for 3 semesters
Customer Service Representative at Expo Design Center for 2 years
Customer Service Representative at MArshalls for 2 years

Thank you in advance 🙂

With that GPA, I think you need 21+ DAT. Study HARD for your DAT, take it around May + Apply early in June. You should start asking for LORs from now.

DAT: beside Kaplan, you should know these materials too: Barron AP Bio (or Cliff), Destroyer, CDP.

Thank you,

What is LORs and CDP? sorry I haven't heard of them before.

LOR = Letters of recommendation. You should have them ready before you submit your application to aadsas. Never know how long it takes to get them back. I think CDP is another one of those DAT prep courses/books.

CDP = Crack Dat Pat. It's a very good software to study for DAT.

Kaplan Pat section is a bit easier than the real DAT.
