There's a new book out on Amazon.com by a dentist who's recommending students NOT go to dental school. It's called "Don't Go to Dental School", and it's 99 cents. This may be a helpful read for those of you who are considering school but aren't quite sure.

This guy imo just wants to be heard.. there is nothing new that he is saying that people don't already know.. this is what 1 dentist out of how many in the USA that feel this way??

I agree. Every year, there is always some one who claims that the dental/medical/restaurant/pharmaceutical/pet shop/etc is going to go down because of saturation or whatever.

The truth is: no one knows for sure.

It's common knowledge that people will no longer be using teeth to eat in the next 10-20 years. We will have ready to eat paste that has all the nutrients we need for the day. Oral health problems are practically eradicated globally. I don't think we've seen a cleft palate occur in a very long time. It's also worthy to note that robotics are replacing dentists rapidly. Wouldn't you rather let a robot do a root canal? All surgeries are moving in this direction. Ask any cardiologist or neurosurgeon. All robotics. Save yourself time and money and don't even go to college. It will surely wreck your finances.

i would rather have an endodontist do a root canal rather than a robot.. either way it is controlled by a human.. cleft palates are way more common than you think... are you in the dental field to make this kind of statistic?

I think his sarcasm flew over your head lol.

Dental problems eradicated globally . We can't stop people from killing each other much less have them worry about their teeth.

Plus, robots in mouths would make children and anxious patients 10x less nervous than they already are.
