Hello, I was wondering if there was any new dental schools coming the next few years. I was also wondering how competitive new dental schools are and how “dangerous” it is to go to a new dental school.

Hello, I was wondering if there was any new dental schools coming the next few years. I was also wondering how competitive new dental schools are and how “dangerous” it is to go to a new dental school.

They tend to be less competitive overall but still very competitive. They tend to be expensive. It’s not dangerous to go to a new dental school, but you don’t have the benefit of the classes before helping refine the curriculum and build up a patient base for the clinical side. On the positive end, the school tends to be more open to change because they don’t have any “it’s always been that way” yet.
