So I just got a copy a few days back: Here are my reviews.

Essentially this is the OLD copy. In fact most of the question numbers are EXACTLY the same. The only recognizable difference is that those K types are not there. So that essentially means there are only around 10 new q's per chapter. Stuff on Halothane has been replaced for the most part.

I thought this was going to be a completely 'new' book. IT ISNT!!

To top it off it's around 90 bucks.

I'll go ahead and take that out of my Amazon wishlist. I will say that the computer access would be nice. Have you logged on yet to see how smooth the interface is?

That's disappointing, especially since I was told directly it would have new questions...I guess I didn't ask how many.

Nope.Havent done that yet man.

I'm a pen and paper sort of guy, and I'm not old!

LOL....If you are a CA1 and havent bought a Q book yet, I'd still recommend it. But if you have the old edition, I wouldnt upgrade..

just got the new addition and skimmed though it a bit. First impressions are that I'm a bit disappointed. Most of the questions seem first order w/strait forward fact recall. The explanations are good however and I like how they cite sources

Just buy the old one used in good condition and save yourself cash money. All that matters is the content in the questions and the actual explanations. Know those down pat in combo with faust or big blue and you're golden. In fact, one would argue that having k types in the question book offers more opportunities for explanations and learning. so that's what i recommend..;)
