Hi all!

As the secondaries start pouring in, I'm realizing many ask about things you are passionate about (U of Mich) or what was the most you got out of an extracurricular (U of connecticut).
Anyways, I adressed a lot of these things in my primaries with ECs. Is it okay to reuse the same things (while expanding) in secondaries or is there supposed to be no overlap?

It only makes sense that those things you are most passionate about you would have mentionned in primaries.

If you can avoid it, don't use the same thing. You want to provide them with as much amazing background about you as possible. Use extra opportunity to (within reason...)

It's why I advise people not to cover everything in your primaries. Concentrate on a few worthwhile and use the rest of the app to round out your presentation.

Elaborate if you can, but yes, I think it's generally okay. People often touch on the same topics in primary and secondary applications.
