I just have to put this out there--Im not a big fan of the new interview feedback format that they have implemented here on SDN. I liked the old feedback format a lot better because you could look at one person's perspective at a time. Also, the date was accompanied with the information so that you were reading feedback that pertained to the current cycle. Now everything is one giant, jumbled, undated mess. Is there anyway that we could petition to bring some of the old features back?

omg. didn't even know it changed, went to check it out and think it is horrible! the dates are crucial! i based all my interview prep off of the most recent questions, and worked backwards at most 2 cycles. no one has time to go through 400 posts/question and comment.

I agree, and have sent the comments up the ladder for further comment and discussion. Thanks for the feedback!! I do have to say though, that the pie charts are a nice visual touch on the update.

The programmers have been tasked to add the date next to each comment and sort by date (newest first). Look for the update shortly - it is the highest priority issue right now.

This is a complete overhaul from the old version which was riddled with incomplete and empty surveys which degraded the quality of data. The platform was changed to ensure better data collection and to allow for implementation of multiple new features which were not possible with the old system. Watch for new features to roll-out through 2010.

The dates were a big negative to me too, with those fixed though I think the new format will be a very nice upgrade, very aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks for listening, SDN!
The dates would really help b/c the interview format, questions, and school data can change from one cycle to the next.
Also - is there anyway we could find a way to access one person's entire feedback answers (maybe link the comments to the original file)? That way we would get to see the perspective of one person instead of everyone's perspective at once. When I was reading the feedback from individuals in the old format, I got a good sense of where they were coming from with their answers. With all the answers mixed together, the data feels more disconnected - its like talking to 50 anonymous people at once and trying to decipher an opinion.

Thanks! It's nice to know that feedback doesn't fall on deaf ears around here.

Can someone post a link??? I can't seem to find it like I did when I looked things up for interviews.

I'm glad there's a thread for this...

I have a gripe to add. I was looking for hotel recommendations, which worked on the old format, but not the new one. It is completely useless to have someone rank a hotel, when all the lists of hotels is on one list with an average ranking for the whole lot in a pie chart next to it. Gives you no information on which places were ranked what.

Other than that, I do like the appearance, the pie charts and compiled counts.
