New Jersey Medical License-Delay

Hey guys,

My husband has applied for NJ medical license on June 8th, and he got paired with a reviewer, and he also asked FSMB to send in the documents via FCVS but it still says unchecked. and they haven't responded anything. If anyone could help us if would be much appreciated! How long will it take for them to review?

Have you tried calling the FCVS? Usually takes 3-4 weeks but there can be delays if your medical school is delayed with turning documents in. I had some questions and called them, and they were able to answer my question about what needed to happen next.

The FCVS already has sent the documents to nj. Did you call fcvs or nj?

I’m a Massachusetts resident but required also to use FCVS. When I had issues and it stated on the site that my application wasn’t complete, I called FCVS for further details. That’s when they told me there were issues with the documents. Not saying you have a similar issue but contacting FCVS seems to be your first step.

I have not received my license. It’s been about 13.5 weeks now. Has not been reviewed yet.
